The screening method for cervical cancer using light enables instant diagnosis of cervical cancer or precursor lesions in a procedure that takes two minutes and the necessary treatment can be started without delay. During the process, light is shown on the cervical tissue. The light is not harmful in any way and reflects healthy tissue and atypical tissue that has been chemically deteriorated due to viruses differently. The results are reflected on the screen in green, yellow or red depending on the level. Thus abnormalities that have just started deep in the tissue can be detected. With the scanning with light procedure, a diagnosis can be made two years earlier than the PAP smear test.
